

Roberto Mengoli is an Italian composer and arranger whose recent scoring work includes the Oscar-qualifying short Sunflower, eligible for the 2025 Academy Awards®, the feature film The Devil in the Flesh (OJ Productions), the short film Come Swim with Me, starring Scout Willis and Nikodem Rozbicki, and Pam (Omeleto, 1M+ views), starring Lizzy Howell. His earlier feature Call Me Crazy (2022), starring Joel Meyers, is available on Amazon Prime Video and Tubi.
Known for melody-driven scores with a strong focus on intimate colours and orchestral depth, he works across both orchestral and electronic spaces, regularly collaborating with ensembles such as the Guildhall Session Orchestra at Milton Court, Barbican Centre, and the Music Centre London Children’s Choir.
Roberto served as additional arranger on High Stakes Holiday (ESX Entertainment & Warner Bros.) and contributed additional music to Lady Parts (Amazon Prime Video) winner at the Austin Film Festival.
In addition to films, he composed the score for the videogame Hollow Flowers, featured in Variety and presented at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival. He was selected for Film Independent’s IndieLink as part of a curated group of composers.
He is an alumnus of the prestigious Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he trained under composers including Marco Beltrami, Harry Gregson-Williams, Inon Zur, and Carlos Rafael Rivera. Classically trained as a pianist and percussionist, he brings over a decade of live performance experience to his compositional work.
